“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
— Colossians 3:16-17 (ESV)

We believe that our worship of the living God should have two primary characteristics: it should be God-centered and gospel-fueled, speaking to both the head and the heart. Our service of worship aims to tell and retell the gospel Story (through song, sermon, prayer, and sacrament) that while we were great sinners, Christ the great Rescuer came to die for great sinners. Our hope is that worshipers depart thinking not of the great music or the great setting, or even the great message, but rather, like Isaiah, What a great God! “Here am I, send me!” (Isaiah 6:8).

We are always open to receiving new faces to help serve with us in worship. We look for the following characteristics in a Worship Team member:

  • Humility

  • Leadership

  • Skill / Talent

If you are interested in serving on the Worship Team or would like to receive more information, please contact Jimbo Wheeler.
