CHARLIE PHILLIPS I SENIOR PASTOR
A native of South Carolina, Charlie joined Westminster’s staff in 2019 after co-planting a church in Charleston. Originally called to pastor young families and youth, Charlie was eventually voted in as Senior Pastor in 2021. He completed his B.A. degree in Communication Arts at Bryan College and his Masters of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. God blessed Charlie with an incredible wife (DJ) and three precious boys (Alex, Sean, and Ryan). You can often find them together riding bikes and enjoying the north Georgia mountains.
Barr Overcast I Associate Pastor of Shepherding & Discipleship
Barr was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He went to college at Samford University, where he met his beautiful wife Becca. After college, Barr worked for the ministry RUF at Covenant College, and then he and Becca moved to Charlotte for Barr to attend seminary. Prior to moving to Gainesville, Barr was the assistant pastor of a church plant in Jonesboro, AR. Barr enjoys hiking, playing board games, talking philosophy, cheering on the Memphis Grizzlies, and eating anything his wife cooks/bakes.
Lisa Hulsey I Director of Connections & Service
Lisa was born in Athens, Georgia and grew up in Winder. She graduated from Winder-Barrow High School and went on to get her B.S. in Business Administration from Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi. After that she received her B.A. in Journalism: Telecommunication Arts from UGA in Athens. Lisa is the proud mother of her daughter, Kristen. She has worked at Westminster since 2008. Lisa loves to tour the Blue Ridge Mountains, is a huge UGA football fan, and loves meeting new visitors at Westminster.
HOPE MANN I DIRECTOR OF WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Hope is a native to Gainesville, GA. She graduated from North Hall High School and then went on to Montreat College and UNG in Dahlonega. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Hope and her husband Aaron are high school sweethearts and have been in ministry for over 11 years. Almost 5 of those years were spent in the beautiful state of Maine to help start a church plant and help grow the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ministry but they are grateful to be back in Georgia! Hope and Aaron have 3 fun and incredible daughters. You can find Hope outside with her girls, going for a run in the evenings, or enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch with a good book in her down time.
Chris Biddy I Pastoral Intern of Student Ministry
Chris was born in Gainesville, GA. He graduated from Chestatee High School in 2010, and went on to earn a degree in both Business Administration and Communications from UNG. He is currently in seminary seeking a Master of Divinity. He has a wonderful wife, Rebecca, and three energetic boys, David, Connor, and Benjamin. He enjoys playing and singing on the worship team and reading.
REBECCA BIDDY I DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN & NURSERY MINISTRIES
Rebecca was born in Gainesville, GA. She attended high school at North Forsyth and afterwards moved to Athens to proudly become a University of Georgia Bulldawg. Rebecca graduated with bachelor degrees in Telecommunication Arts and Sociology in 2007. She and her husband, Chris, have three wonderfully wild boys - David, Connor, and Benjamin. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and trying out new craft projects.
James Wheeler | Music Director
James "Jimbo" is from Gainesville, Georgia. He received his MBA in Project Management from Brenau University. Jimbo and his wife are the proud parents of four children. Jimbo has been at Westminster since 1999. He loves anything and everything music related.

Ashley Hollifield I Nursery Coordinator
Ashley was born in Gainesville, Ga. She attended University of North Georgia, where she met her wonderful husband Hank and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. She and Hank got married in 2014 and they now have 3 children: Hudson, Beckett and Hadley. Ashley enjoys cooking, baking, being outside with her family and dogs and playing games.
DEENA BARRETT I ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Deena and her husband Jason moved to Gainesville in 2001. She migrated to the beautiful south after earning a BA in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Deena has four wonderful children and two precious granddaughters. In her spare time you will find Deena taking a walk, tending her flowers, or reading a good book.
