W2W DAY TO GET AWAY

10 AM - 2 PM

Isaiah 40:11

The shepherd carries us close to His heart

Ladies, please join us on Saturday, April 27th for a Day to Get Away!  We will enjoy the day together at The North Hall Community Center, 4175 Nopone Road, Gainesville.

Speakers: Sarah Lingerfelt and Opal Hardgrove

Sarah Lingerfelt  is the daughter of Charlie & Mary Nash, loving wife to Daniel, mother of 6 children, ages 7 to 23, and a grandmother to two precious grandchildren!! Sarah is blessed to be able to run her busy household and her own business from home. She has served as the head of Christian growth and outreach at Chestnut Mtn. Presbyterian Church for two years. Sarah says that God led her down a long road of suffering and through it all, He has grown her and sustained her. She is a firm believer that our suffering is what gives us the greatest growth and the greatest connections this side of heaven. She loves sharing of God’s faithfulness in the dark times and feels called to help others go deeper with God and others in life. Sarah enjoys reading, writing, and travel in her “free time”!

Opal Hardgrove is married to Ben, and they have one grown daughter (Hope) and two grandchildren (Elijah and Emme). Opal is a familiar face at Westminster PCA as she served with many of our church family at Mission to the World for 25 years! More recently, Opal has ministered with Sacred Roots Farm, and just got certified as an equine assisted instructor there. Opal will share what it’s like to be carried in the Shepherd’s arms and held close to His heart. As a young couple, Opal and Ben experienced the traumatic experience of an explosion that nearly took Ben’s life! The story of his survival and the ministry opportunities this led to are nothing short of God’s hands working wonders in both their lives and the lives of others!
