Sunday's Sermon: "A Mirror to the World"

In our study of the first half of Genesis 4 last week, we began to see the effects of the fall in human history. Cain killed his brother, Abel. Instead of inflicting capital punishment upon him, God banished Cain further east of Eden, where he takes up a new occupation: City planner. The once farmer sets out to build a city, and we are introduced to the development of culture and the dehumanizing effects of sin.
